After determining "eye-level" height most appropriate for the facility's population (60" from the floor, less in assisted living facilities),

based on floor plans and position of the hardware on the frames, 5/16" holes are made in the walls, and mollies are inserted in them.

Screws secure mounting brackets to the wall, and the frame's slotted brackets slip over those wall mounting brackets.

Use a level to ensure the frame is straight as compared to the ground, as well as being straight relative to other pieces in any groupings.

Another hole, a mollie& a T-screw are placed in the wall & aligned with the bottom slotted bracket on the frame.

A security wrench turns the t-screw 90 degrees and locks it's head into the slot of that slotted bracket.

With that, your picture, mirror, or sculpture installation is secure, easily cleaned, and not a potential hazard to residents of that facility.

"So how long does it take," you ask?

At a recent install, the maintenance man who did the facility's last install admitted the first picture took him all of his morning to hang.

Though install time improved after that, the 65 pieces took him almost 2 weeks to complete and he complained about it the entire time.

Other work he had did not get done, the pictures were vulnerable to damage and theft, and residents could have been injured at the site.

He never claimed to know about artistic balance or perspective or height, and it was used as his "disclaimer" for how the pieces looked.
